At The Real Cake and Bake Company in Hedge End, near Southampton, we make and create everything from characterful, personalised celebration cakes for birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and corporate events, to the elegant multi-tiered wedding centrepiece of your dreams.

We also bake delicious “everyday” cakes – including vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, coffee and walnut and lemon sponge cakes as well as cherry bakewell, lemon sensation, cherry and toffee loaf cakes and rich fruit cake –  for you to take home for a tea time treat.  Additionally, we specialise in  delicate, handmade sugar decorations and sugarcraft flowers for you to use  to embellish your own  tasty creations.

Since our founding by Janice Barfoot in 1993, our expert cake team has supplied professional bakers, aspiring makers and “just love cake”-ers with sugarcraft consumables, tools, and equipment alongside friendly cake and sugarcraft advice.

Offering something for everyone our recently reappointed classroom hosts a wide variety of macaron, cake baking, cake decorating and sugarcraft classes, for both adults and children.  We also offer private parties and corporate events.
